RAW Enduro Restart Heads to Dean Moor


Under strict guidelines and new operating systems, RAW Enduro are now able to restart the Rock Oil 2020 Championship at the awesome Dean Moor MX Circuit in Cumbria on July 18th/19th.

Saturday will see the first ever Enduro Pay & Play at this superb venue running from 10am to 3pm. Very Limited Places available, ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY, and NO Pay on Day.

Then on Sunday there are 3 separate events on the bill, first up Youth Riders will be flagged away at 08:30 for their standalone Youth event. Then at 10:30 the Adult Sportsman, Sportsman Vets, Novice and Over 50 riders will take to the course for two hours. After a brief pause for track alterations at 1:30 Expert Clubman and Elite Vets will get to compete around the hilltop venue for their standalone event. IOPD or ACU licence required, RAW WILL PROVIDE RACE NUMBERS to riders at the sign on tent, a donation of £2 per rider required which will be allocated to a selected charity providing emergency care for off road riders.

With Views of the Lake District from one side, and the Irish Sea from the paddock, Dean Moor really is situated on top of the world.
Camping is permitted, in strict socially distanced Hard Standing bays, there is fee for overnight stays which must be paid for at the sign on tent ON ARRIVAL, there you give your vehicle registration number and you will be allocated with your camping permit, to display in your vehicle.

A black bag to take your generated rubbish home will be supplied. RAW ENDURO CAN NOT TRANSFER WASTE. Anyone leaving Rubbish on site will be dealt accordingly.

Participants staying overnight MUST be self-sufficient and they must also stay within their Parking Area. Strictly NO SPECTATORS and NO SOCIAL GATHERING in line with current UK CV-19 guidelines.

On Track action will be the best ever at Dean Moor, lockdown has left the land owner with time to redesign the site with not one, but Two separate MX tracks at our disposal, as well as all the outfield sections to keep the open going theme alive. No Trees to contend with, just good old school Hare & Hounds terrain.

Riders are reminded that full Kit must be worn at all times, including goggles, any rider coming to the start without goggles will be removed from the event.

Anyone showing signs of CV-19 symptoms MUST STAY HOME and NOT ATTEND THE EVENT.

Entries are NOW ONLINE ONLY – No Pay on Day entries at the current time, the RAW Enduro website has options two enter Saturday or Sunday, with price options for current Club members and non-members.
IOPD Competition licences are available on site at a cost of £20.
Youth Parental Agreement forms must be filled in for all Under 18’s.
