Don’t miss this opportunity to get racing again. Quad and sidecar entries for the first two rounds of the NETT Championship, featuring tracks across Northern England, are filling up. This first doubleheader takes place Wooley Grange (DL15 9AN) on 24 and 25 April and entries close at 1800 hours on 22 April.

Because of Covid restrictions, entering on the day is not going to be possible, but it’s really easy to enter in advance on at www.ride-acu.uk – even if you’ve not used it before. Day licences and overnight camping tickets should be booked there too, so you simply have to sign in as you arrive, stay socially distant and get ready to race.

Whether you put your entry in online or by email – a full refund (less ACU £3 charge) will be issued if you then can’t attend. If you need help entering, contact NETT’s new Event Secretary Stu Gair on sgair.nett@gmail.com.

They have a new Chief Marshal too – long-standing sidecar man Colin Walker – and he’s delighted with the initial response he’s had from members and friends of NETT who have already offered to marshal. Anyone else interested in marshalling at Wooley Grange, or later in the season, can call or text Colin on 07825 913444.

The event also features the opening round of the SMCA Clubman Sidecars Championship on the Sunday, but unfortunately, public spectators are not allowed because of Covid restrictions.

Final instructions will come out this week; for now, a quick heads up to help you plan – the caterer and his Gourmet Grille will be serving supper dishes on the Saturday night till about 5.30pm as well as the usual popular breakfasts and lunch options both days.
