The club announced on their facebook page…

“We thought this event wouldn’t run this year after spending a lot of time February and march plotting and marking the course most of it is still up, so thinking outside the box I knew a big national event is just out of the question but we could run a sportive a challenge a non-competitive event so with no objections from the local authorities we can run our approved April course.

So if there’s enough interest this how it will work; we will have start times for the riders like enduro (no xc style start this is not a race ) and a set amount of time to complete the challenge and checkpoints to record passage.

RAVINES IS A MEGA EXTREME CHALLENGE nearly 35km of tough going with some big new climbs and descents which will test the rider.

We are trying now to get special ravine medals for riders finishing the route if anyone knows anyone that can help message the club.

To enter go to www.dirtbike-action.co.uk there are limited places for this years epic.

The event is run under NORA and a Nora practice licence is required this is free on the Dirtbike Action site
remember this is non-competitive, just a personal challenge on the best extreme course in the UK.”
