MX Nationals Straight Rhythm – Preview and Entry list

The first-ever Motocross Straight Rhythm to take place in the UK runs this weekend as part of round 5 of the MX Nationals at Cusses Gorse, near Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Following the days racing on Saturday, the Straight Rhythm event starts at 6pm in the evening, with the top Pro racers going head to head in their respective 250 and 450 heats, semi’s and then the grand final.

Extensive work has been done at the venue with the Straight Rhythm course incorporating the famous rollers and the finish line jump which has suitably been ramped up for the occasion.

The course starts with a hefty drop in, before they race headlong over a variety of tabletops, whoops, rollers…. to the finish line on a track built by top track builders Justin Barclay and Alfie Smith.

The majority of the top Pro racers from the MX Nationals are taking part with a few specialists also added into the mix, but as it’s the first time it has been run in the UK, picking a winner out of this lot is a tricky business. One thing is for sure though, is that some new fan favourites will emerge with a big crowd expected to take in the spectacle.

You can purchase tickets for just the Straight Rhythm for only £5 (this will give you entry to the event from 5pm)

Or why not buy a weekend pass that will automatically give you access to the Straight Rhythm as well as a weekend full of racing including the Sunday Pro races.

A Standard Weekend Pass gate price is £20 or you can buy an Online Advanced ticket price £15 via

Or you can make a weekend of it and camp at the track! Camping is only £10 (per pitch).
