JSR HONDA STAR IN IMBA OPENER
The riders representing AMCA Team GB in the IMBA MX1 European Championship travelled to Arleux in France on Sunday for the opening round, and what a glorious success it was to be for the JSR Thunder-Road Honda team.

All four of their ace red bike racers finished inside the top five overall with both James Dodd and Ashley Thomas on the podium.
In superb style, Dodd went 2/1/1 for the overall victory, his only defeat coming in moto one of the new IMBA campaign when his team-mate Thomas was first past the post. After that win, Ashley then chased James home in the remaining clashes to deservedly bag the podium runners-up slot. Also performing in style, Andy Smart just missed out on a place on the box by 2 points with a 3/4/5 scorecard whilst Bradley Tranter was also right in the mix and 5th overall going 6/7/3.
Unfortunately, though it was not to be such a good day for Josh Waterman the defending IMBA MX1 Champion and final member of AMCA Team GB. Aboard his IDS/Marsh Motors Yamaha, Josh suffered a horrific moto one crash whilst in contention, resulting in a trip to hospital. Thankfully he was released and on his way home by late Sunday evening, get well soon Josh!
It was also round one of the IMBA Sidecar series on Sunday at Wohlen in Switzerland. Top GB crew was Sam Osbaldiston/Nathan Cooper in 9th with a 10/11/5 whilst the only other crew to make the trip was Alfie Brown/Josh Cooper. On the superb former GP circuit, Brown posted 24/19/21 to leave him in 22nd overall.
