The first action of the day was for the Youth riders who were in for a two hour long battle. With a good entry for the 2 Hour event, it was going to be a challenge for the Juniors and Youths alike. Jak Heaney got the holeshot in the Solo Youth class, but it wasn’t long before the likes of Carcredit 365 rider Brandon Burns and Jak’s team mate Alex Leadbetter got the better of him. Great racing for these lads for the whole duration but eventually Brandon taking the win, Alex lost out by 26 seconds in second place and Cameron Baker Haste rounding out the podium in third.

Jacob Bragg

In the Solo Juniors,  Jacob Bragg was in his element, loving the dry conditions and open track, taking a very impressive win on 6 laps and 14 minutes up on his nearest rival Riley Freeman who was happy to take the second place trophy home with him, and local lad Sam Thompson rounding out the Solo Junior class podium in third place.

In the Team Youth class Evie Reynolds and Alfie Marsden took the win by 5 minutes from Harley Allen and Ryan Liddle in second place – both teams completing eight laps. They all rode their socks off and deserve a big pat on the back!

With a short break and quite a few track alterations, the main 5 mile event was due to get underway. With a brand new track lay out, lots of new parts in to jazz the lap up, sure enough the Edge crew managed to put on another great lap to keep everyone on their toes! Lots of easy, enjoyable riding with some good technical going to keep it interesting, made it something to look forward to. Having the live timing certainly created a massive buzz for all riders and their pit crews alike. With this being the penultimate round, things were set to really heat up!

Alfie Marsden

By the end of the 4 hours in the Expert Team class Bewlay/Altass took the win and fastest lap of the day, with Leadbetter/Utley grabbing second from Radcliffe Gamble in third.

Jamie Dilworth put his mark on the Solo Expert class with Josh settling for second and D3 Baydale KTM rider Burts Crayston missing second by 14 seconds.
