Giles holds on to top spot! 350cc Solo National Grasstrack Grading list
Experienced Kent racer Mark Giles successfully defended his 350cc Solo National Grasstrack Grading List title in 2019, despite several ups and downs. A nasty looking accident at the British Championships did not deter Giles, who went on to win several more meetings even after this incident.

Giles managed to win an impressive 7 events throughout the season, including a great win at Battle of Britain, and another season of unbeaten dominance in the Western centre.
Closest to him was returnee Ricky Sandford. It had been several years since Sandford had competed at Grasstrack, but it didn’t take him long to get back into winning ways. He has been impressive all season.
Injured rider Barry Powell finishes 3rd, despite ending his season with some nasty injuries. We hope that Barry is on the mend and will be ready for 2020.
39 competitors feature in the National Grading List for 2019. This is just an increase of 3. Hopefully, the 350cc class will grow some momentum in 2020.
