Double date with destiny! EASSC Club Championships Rounds 4 & 5 – Race Report and Results

EASSC travelled to Culham for rounds 4 and 5 of the championship. The riders and spectators were pleased to have made the journey and were rewarded with sensational weather, providing some hot racing throughout the two days. The track was in fantastic condition and the riders were enthusiastic to race and heat up the championship places.

Day One

First out were the Big Wheel 85 class and the top three were in it to win it. Race one saw Bayliss Utting pull a gap to take the win from Harrison Forde second and Callum Murfitt third. Race two this time saw Harrison Forde ride a strong race to take first place with Bayliss Utting second and Callum Murfitt third. Race three saw Bayliss Utting hungry for the win riding a solid race to take the win with the racing taking place behind him. Harrison Forde held second place and Callum Murffitt rounding off the top three. Overall results for the day Bayliss Utting, Harrison Forde and Callum Murfitt.

John Gurney

Next out were the Youth Open & 125s and Drew Anderson was on fire. Drew rode three solid races taking the race win in each one. The racing continued behind Drew with race one seeing Billy Wilson second and Kayden Algar third. Race two saw Billy Wilson take another strong second place with Daniel Warby third. Race three again saw Billy Wilson second and Daniel Warby third. Overall results for the day Drew Anderson, Billy Wilson and Daniel Warby.

MX1 and MX2 classes went out together and the racing was immense. The field had battles going on throughout and the spectators were rewarded with an exceptional class of riders. MX1 races saw Ryan Watts take first in race one with Harry Clark fighting hard to take second and Connor Dennis third. In race two Harry Clark was hungry for the win and was rewarded with it through outstanding racing. Jake Marsh second and Ryan Watts third. In race two Harry Clark took the win with Ryan Watts second and Jake Marsh third. Overall results for the day were Harry Clark, Ryan Watts and Jake Marsh. The MX2 class saw the top three places being competed for between three riders and the racing was fearsome. In race one Ryan Allison rode a solid race to take the win with Todd Ritchie second and Toby Avis third. Race two saw Todd Ritchie take the win with Ryan Allison second and Toby Avis third. Race three saw Ryan Allison take the win with Todd Ritchie second and Toby Avis third. Overall results for the day were Ryan Allison, Todd Ritchie and Toby Avis.

Ollie Povey

Vets were out next and it was going to be tight at the top. In race one Paul Willis rode away from the field to take first place with Martin Wilson second and Cliff Lester third. Race two saw Paul Willis and Tim Clark battling it out with Paul taking the win and Tim second and Martin Wilson rounding up the top three. In race three Tim Clark was hungry for the win and held off the others to succeed. Paul Willis second and Martin Wilson third. Overall results for the day were Paul Willis Martin Wilson and Cliff Lester.

Next out were the Autos and they all rode amazing races. Race one saw Robbie Daly take the win with Riley-Ray Barrow second and Ryan Taylor third. Race two saw Robbie Daly again take the win with Riley-Ray Barrow another second and Ryan Taylor third. In there final race Robbie Daly did it again with a solid win with Riley-Ray Barrow second and Tommie Perfect third. Overall results for the day were Robbie Daly, Riley-Ray Barrow and Tommie Perfect.

Junior class were keen to get there racing underway and as always it was exciting to watch. Race one saw Kayden Smith pull away to take the win with Riley Ingram second and Zane Sibley-Deakin third. Race two saw Kayden Smith provide another outstanding performance to take first place with Riley Ingram second and Zane Sibley-Deakin third. Race three saw Kayden Smith take the win again with Archie Britton second and Zane Sibley-Deakin third. Overall results for the day were Kayden Smith, Zane Sibley-Deakin and Riley Ingram.

The final race out were the Small Wheel 85 class and the top three riders dominating the racing results. In each of the races Kyron Carron out rode the field to take three outstanding wins with Billy Moriarty working hard and riding smoothly to take second in each of the races and Haydon Harris third rounding off the third place. Overall results for the day were Kyron Carron, Billy Moriarty and Haydon Harris.

Day Two

The weather remand dry with the wind picking up as the racing went on throughout the day but again all of the riders were hungry to race.

First out were the Youth Open and 125 class. Race one saw Drew Anderson take a comfortable win with Billy Wilson second and Ollie Povey third. In race two Billy Wilson got a great start and rode a solid race to take the win with Adam Caroleo third. Race three saw Frew Anderson back at the top spot with Billy Wilson second and Adam Caroleo third. Overall results for the day were Drew Anderson, Billy Wilson and Adam Caroleo.

Charlie Ward

Next out were MX2 and what a thrilling race to watch. In race one Ryan Allison and Todd Ritchie were battling it out with Ryan taking the win and Todd second with Toby Avis taking third. In race two Todd Ritchie pulled a gap on the first lap to take the win with Toby Avis second and Ryan Allison third. In the finally race of the day Todd Ritchie was not hanging about and gave an outstanding race performance to take the win, Ryan Allison coming in second and Toby Avis third. Overall results for the day were Todd Ritchie, Ryan Allison and Toby Avis.

The Vets were out next and Tim Clark dominated the class taking three straight wins with style. Paul Willis came in second in each of the three races and Martin Wilson third in each. Overall results for the day were Tim Clark, Paul Willis and Martin Wilson.

Freddie O’Leary

MX1 class were out net and the battles were taking place throughout the field. In race one Harry Clark got a great start and took a safe win with Daniel Ashmore second and Ryan Watts third. In race two Daniel Ashmore was hungry for the win and manage to take it with some comfort from Harry Clark in second and Ryan Watts third. Race three saw Daniel Ashmore have a confident ride to take another win with Harry Clark second and Ryan Watts third. Overall results for the day were Daniel Ashmore, Harry Clark and Ryan Watts.

Autos were next and Robbie Daly had another outstanding day to take each of the three race wins. Riley-Ray Barrow also had another strong day to take second in each of the races. In race one Tommie Perfect rode a strong race to take third place, in race two it was Chase Panter taking third and race three saw Tommie Perfect back in the third place position. Overall results for the day were Robbie Daly, Riley-Ray Barrow and Tommie Perfect.

Zane Sibley Deakin & Harley Swain

In the Junior class the youngsters were as enthusiastic as ever to get underway. In race one Kayden Smith rode a strong race managing to pull away to take the win with Riley Ingram second and Zane Sibley-Deakin third. Race two saw Riley Ingram get a great start and ride a courageous race to take the win with Kayden Smith second and Zane Sibley-Deakin third. In race three Kayden Smith was back to his winning ways taking the win with Riley Ingram second and Archie Britton third. Overall results for the day were Kayden Smith, Riley Ingram and Zane Sibley-Deakin.

Next out were the Small Wheel 85 class and it was going to be thrilling to watch. Martin Wilson

Last out were the Big Wheel 85s and Wal Beaney was back. Wal rode three incredible races to take the win in each with Bayliss Utting working hard to take second in each of the races and Harrison Forde finishing third in each. Overall results for the day were Wal Beaney, Bayliss Utting and Harrison Forde.
