Dorset’s calling! Rock it ’til Sundown Motocross Classic – Preview
The first ever Steel Hawk Motorcycle Club hosted “Rock it ’til Sundown” takes place tomorrow (Wednesday 15th August) with a whole plethora of talent from the youth ranks right up to the Pro’s.

With the likes of Josh Gilbert, Elliott Banks-Browne, Liam Knight, Dan Thornhill, James Harrison, Lewis Tombs, Ryan Houghton, alongside local heroes Jake Shipton and Kristian Whatley all going for the big glory, cash and the huge Bob Lewis Trophy its going to be an event not to be missed.
The meeting takes place at Tincleton near Dorchester, and begins with a daytime meeting for 65’s, 85’s, Rookies, Vets, Adult B and Adult A classes with a mixture of local and national talent all doing battle for a huge stash of prizes.
The top 14 in each class qualify through to the evening event which see’s the track cut in half and the Pro racers introduced to the programme. The Top Adult A riders also qualify through to race with the Pro’s for the big bucks so expect some local underdogs getting in there to shake it up.
The daytime racing starts at 10.30am and is free to watch. The evening event starts at 5pm and the entry fee after 3pm is £5 for Adults and Free for under 16’s.
There will be onsite catering and trade stalls with live music when the evening racing has finished at aprox 8.30pm
