Christchurch MXC bowing out with big finale at Crow!

by adminSeptember 24, 2018

It’s bad news for Motocross racers down on the Hampshire/Dorset frontier as the excellent Christchurch Motocross club are calling it a day after their final meeting this year on October 7th, which takes place at Crow.

The Club statement reads..

“The “Grand Finale” meeting of 2018 sees Christchurch Mx in the uk host our final round of our 2018 championships at the Best natural track in the south for one last time, Crow, Near Ringwood.

Unfortunately our time as a club has come to an end and this, the 2018 season will be our last operating as a club. We would personally like to thank all of the families, supporters, sponsors, medics, caterers, marshall’s, photographers, The MCF, our committee and most of all, you the riders for your support in the past 3 seasons since we took over and brought the club forward to what it is today. We hope that we have made ever lasting memories with all of our events that we have hosted and friendships on and off the track. We wish you a safe and fond farewell and all the best for your futures, and a huge thank you for supporting us as a Club.

Unfortunately this will also be the very last ever Motocross meeting hosted at the ever impressive natural circuit of Crow, as the land will be returning to its natural habitat. We as a club would like to extend our gratitude to Richard Lowndes and family for their help and permission in allowing us to run our meetings at Crow, which is one of the most natural rough demanding tracks here in the south but one steeped in history, and a firm rider favourite. We thank you ever so much for your support, kindness and wish you all the best for your futures.”

The full event info is below:

The “Grand finale” curtain closing meeting at Crow will take place on Sunday October 7th 2018, near Ringwood, BH24 3FB.

The 2018 championship titles will be decided on the day and this will see us here at Christchurch mx in the uk host our very last ever Motocross meeting for the the last time Crow will ever see Motocross, hopefully giving the club and the track the send off they deserve and creating a place down memory lane.
