Down in the Parc! British Minibike Champs Rounds 3 & 4 – Preview

The British Minibike Champs crew are back to it this weekend with rounds 3 and 4 of the 2020 series, which takes place at the spiritual MBC home of Champs Parc near Kettering.

Last time out 7-one Racing Bucci rider Blaine Blackwell stamped his authority on the Pro class and will be looking for more of the same this weekend, but the likes of Jody Burton and Daniel Muddiman will have their eyes on the top step of the box.

Riley Ray Barrow is tearing up the tracks all over the UK in 2020 and he will take some stopping in the Kids 50cc group, but there is a cluster of riders that are ready to take the mantle if Riley drops his guard including Zach White, Freddie Darvill, Seth Golding, Aaron Shepherd-Smith, Ethan Georgiou and Harry Dearle.

Like Riley, Robbie Daly has been pretty much unbeatable on a 65cc in 2020 wherever he has ridden, and having already chalked up six moto wins at the MBC it will be interesting to see who out of Marty Spires, Frankie Donoghue, Jamie Thorpe, Kieran Bullock and George Everest will be the first to take his scalp.

Just two riders competed in the Youth Junior class at the first two rounds with Jamie Clarke beating Maddie Banks on each occasion so it would be great to see more in this group this time out.

Leo Vowles was unstoppable in the Youth Seniors at the first two rounds but there are heaps of talent in the ranks behind him so he will have to keep his eyes out for young chargers such as Jake Speller, Senna Ace Summers, Harry Streeter, Jack Perry, Rocco Lanza and Ethan Lochrie.

In the Masters group Dan Foreman made a successful step into the fold with only Scott Joyner able to defeat him. Joyner will look to do the same this weekend, but keep your eyes out also for Matt Chamberlain who will be a contender.

Vets supremo Chris Rose will be looking to keep his title-winning freight train running, but Phillip Thomas, Adam Burton and Jay Taylor will all have something to say about it.

Who knows who will show up in the Fun and Farm bikes classes this weekend, but if the last round is anything to go by the racing will be intense and of course fun which is what it is all about.
