Acerbis Amateur Nationals – Championship update
The Acerbis Amateur Nationals Motocross Championship has released an update on the status of their 2020 series. With so much uncertainty on what will or won’t be allowed going forward, the remaining meetings will now be open meetings rather than championship scoring events with an aim to begin at Farleigh Castle on the 15th and 16th August.

Darren Hudson the Series chief posted on their facebook page the below…
“Me and Chloe have had our own video conference call ( me in the kitchen Chloe in the living room, everyone else has had one so we thought we best had)
Due to the current situation with covid 19 and the current regulations Boris has in place for off road motor sport,
•limited number of riders
•no 2 day events
•rider and one other only allowed in
•no beer tent or entertainment
•no food vans
we find it unfair/unpractical/impossible, to run the championship under those regulations and with only 4 Rounds left (we may not find the time to rearrange the dates lost.) We have to think of all our riders travelling to England with the current travel restrictions.
As it stands we would have these dates & tracks remaining
•25/26 July – Landrake
•15/16 August – Farleigh castle
•5/6 September – Culham
•8/9 October – Fatcats
Im not holding my breath for Landrake but would hope to be back on track in August for Farleigh Castle.
We have decided once we get the green light and restrictions are eased we will still use these dates & tracks as open events (NON CHAMPIONSHIP but registered riders will get priority) we will keep you all updated once we get the go ahead.
Regarding Registration all riders will be transferred over to 2021.
We hope you all understand and agree with our decision as we feel the safety and health of our onsite staff, Medics, marshals, and riders is paramount, and we want to be able to put quality events on for you the riders.
Any queries don’t not hesitate on giving us a call 07774894534 / 07887407590
Stay safe guys! Many thanks Darren & Chloe Hudson”
