With the track in perfect condition following the recent rain the action was fast and furious and none more so than in the championship class where Yamaha teamsters Alex Walton and Jay Thomas battled throughout the night with Alex just gaining the upper hand to win by 9 seconds at the flag. In the experts class local rider Adam James brought his KTM home almost a minute ahead of Henry Yardley these two over three minutes ahead of the chasing pack.
Wrexham’s Harry Houghton who has been dominating the clubman class in enduro’s this year had his work cut out to retain his winning streak finishing twenty seconds ahead of Jac George who in turn was less than 20 seconds ahead of third man John Williams. In the Over 40s class former top championship rider Wyn Hughes was making a rare competitive outing but has lost none of his style finishing over a minute ahead of Bo Anderson while Jason Rees was a similar distance in front of Colin Griffiths to secure the Over 50s class win.
In a huge Sportsman class Ben Davies managed an extra lap more than the rest of the field to take the win while a field of nearly 20 sidecars saw current British Champions David Williams and Luke Peters beat arch rivals Jonathan Williams and Neil James to take the expert class while Mark Stokes with Luke Townsend took the clubman class a lap ahead of Marcus Morgan and Callum Gibbons.
The clubs next event will be an Evening Moto Duro on Wednesday 13th June.
