MXGP qualifying race results from Red Sands
In a break from the Red Bull KTM show Team HRC’s Tim Gasjer won the MXGP qualifying race at the pacy Red Sands circuit in Spain.
Gajser pulled the holeshot and was chased down the whole race long by a hungry looking Romain Febvre who finished in second.
Gautier Paulin on his Rockstar Husqvarna held on for third, just ahead of a hard charging Antonio Cairoli who came through the pack to end up in 4th one place ahead of his championship rival Jefferey Herlings who after reeling in places and setting quick lap times seemed to hit a wall, eventually finishing in 5th. Swiss Racer Jeremy Seewer put in a good performance for 6th whilst Max Anstie looked fast in seventh. Sean Simpson finished 12th whilst Graeme Irwin was 18th.
With some of the other riders showing the speed to beat the KTM duo, tomorrow could be an interstind day in Spain.
