The Wildmoor Sevenseven 2 Yamaha MX Team for 2018

by adminMarch 23, 2018

Craig Chamberlain heads up the Wildmoor SevenSeven 2 Yamaha Motocross team again for the 3rd year running with a strong line up in the AMCA MX2 British Championship.  Craig is pleased to announce the additional sponsorship of Wildmoor Plant & Leisure as Title Sponsor.

We’ve taken the opportunity to invite the riders themselves to say a few words on the forthcoming season ….

First up – Luke Dean, age 23.

“Hi I’m Luke Dean. I am 23 years old.  I ride for the Wildmoor Sevenseven 2 Yamaha UK team.  Last year was my first year with the team and on a 250F, we had a great first year unfortunately due to injury when leading the championship we dropped back to 3rd but we are fit and ready to take on 2018.  I love working with Craig, the team boss, as there is no pressure as long you put in 110% he’s happy.

Also in the Team is Jack Wankling…

“My name is Jack Wankling, I am 16 years old and I ride for Wildmoor SevenSeven2 Yamaha UK. Last year was my first-year riding with the team, competing in the AMCA MX2 championship and on a 250F. We had a great first year together, finding my feet in the championship and getting to grips with the YZ250F, that said, I accomplished my goal which I set for myself at the start of the season of finishing inside the top 20. I finished 19th overall in the AMCA MX2 Championship. I had some ups and down last season, which I intend to improve on going into this season. A highpoint last year for myself saw me finish 10th in one race last year at Bevercotes. I

found the bike amazing to ride and fell in love with the handling the 1st time I rode it, I began to feel more and more at home on it as the season progressed. I am really looking forward to riding for Wildmoor SevenSevem2 Yamaha UK again this year. I can’t wait to be racing my YZ250F under Craig Chamberlain’s awning. He provides a relaxed but professional approach to racing which I really enjoy.”

“I can’t thank him enough for the opportunity he gave me last year to be a part of his team and again this year. My goal in 2018 is to break into the top 10 on a more regular basis. Craig is a great team manager and makes sure the team runs smoothly, he is always on hand with some words of advice or reassurance whenever they are needed.”

Finally a new rider for 2018 is Lee Sealey……

The New recruit Lee Sealey

“My name is Lee Sealey, I’m 21 and have rode Enduro for the past 7 years achieving 3rd in the Youth World Enduro Championship and multiple GB appearances. I’d just like to take the opportunity to thank Yamaha UK for all the help they’ve given me over the years and continued support for the 2018 season. Working with a new team within the Yamaha family, Wildmoor Sevenseven 2 Yamaha UK team. I can’t wait to get the season started, I’m happy with how the winter training is going and how the team is working. It’s my first year racing motocross and I’m hoping to achieve a top 3 finish”
