With heaps of former World star’s from all over the globe brushing down their M Robert kit, and hundred’s of other Evo hungry racers looking to relive the glory days aboard their meticulously restored gems there is tons of on track action to enjoy as well as packed trade area’s good old fashioned back slapping camaraderie and the chance to grab that autograph you were just too shy to get your hands on as a kid.
You may be mistaken if you think that the heroes of your youth won’t be taking the racing seriously, as we can assure they will as they look to fly the flag and grab the Des Nation’s trophy for their country.
There have been a few unfortunate drop outs with British favourite Rob Herring called up with his work in the Film industry and Alex Puzar breaking his wrist in his practice crash. Still there are plenty of big names to get your Retro juices flowing including Kurt Nicholl, Americans Doug Dubach and Doug Henry and modern stars such as Dakar Winner Sam Sunderland who will be racing a 1980’s KTM.
A weekend ticket is £25 for an Adult and £10 for a Child ticket, if you are just rocking up on the Sunday if you arrive after 8am its £20 for a Adult. For weekend camping it’s £30. The action commences on the Saturday with timed practice at 9am. The Postcode for the track is BA2 7RR.
