RHR Yamaha work hard in the heat at Canada Heights – MX Nationals Round 5 Team Report
In the hottest possible conditions the Rob Hooper Racing Yamaha Motocross team took to the track at a fantastically prepared Canada Heights for the 5th round of the Michelin MX Nationals.
Images courtesy of Elliot Spencer Photography Despite the hot weather, the dust was kept to a minimum, but the action on track was blisteringly quick so there was air of contentment from the RHR camp after MX1 riders Ryan Houghton, and Kristian Whatley qualified in 6th and 7th in the Pro Class. Their MX2 counterpart Robbie Dowson was down in 27th in the mixed Pro group but qualifying isn’t his forte so there was no pressing the panic button under the RHR awning.

Henry breathes Life into Tincleton! Ringwood MXC Club Championships Round 7 – Race Report and Results
There were a number of stand out performances at Ringwood MXC’s seventh club championships round at Tincleton near Dorchester, where the riders had to compete against each other as well as the intense heat.

Whilst the riders had enough to contend with the club and the track owners did an amazing job to keep the dust down and get in all three blocks of racing, so well done to all involved for making it happen.

Buildbase Honda line up MX Nationals triple crown!
Following the fifth and penultimate round of the 2018 Michelin MX Nationals at Canada Heights today the three Buildbase Honda riders contesting the series now occupy the top positions in the MX1, MX2 and 250F MXY2 class championships.
With just the final round to go at Cusses Gorse on September 2, Jake Nicholls leads MX1 by 31 points, Josh Gilbert has edged into an eight-point lead in MX2 and Callum Green – despite a big crash in his opening moto – heads the 250F MXY2 division by 51 points.

The Michelin MX Nationals defied the odds this weekend. The team didn’t just manage to simply run an event, but pulled out all the stops to stage an impressive full set of races for its youth, adult and Pro classes, whilst making an emotional Steven Lenoir tribute in the process.
