Having already called Cumbria the place to race in 2018, as the season starts to wind down a little we have 2 of the biggest meetings of the year, although 2 we wish were in different circumstances, they are a celebration of two great people who we all miss greatly.

First up is Brampton 1st 2nd September hosted by East Cumbria Mx, and Rounds 5 and 6 of the club championship featuring the Lee Tolson #105 Memorial Dash for Cash. as a finale to Saturdays racing.
With the re-vamped track now settled in and some absolutely fantastic racing the previous round, this is sure to one to get booked in for. With Prizes for all classes thanks to some very generous local business’s and with a big cash prize in the dash for cash this is a big one, including a £105 Holeshot prize as Lee Tolson was Mr Holeshot. Last years Dash for cash saw a great battle between Brad Anderson and Brad Todd going down to the last corner before Ando took the honors. Check ECMX east cumbria mx on facebook to enter.
The Second weekend 8th 9th September, we head to to the re-named Route 44 and Haverigg for the Thomas Brown Memorial 5 races over 2 days. As a lasting legacy to Thomas the Haverigg circuit had a full revamp last year by Alfie Smith and a team of volunteers, the scene of his last race win. A huge turn out as last year is expected with night time entertainment as well as the racing. With some top names already entered this is another one not to be missed.
So if you have still not checked racing in Cumbria out, give us a try in September, these are 2 sand tracks, both better with abit of moisture in the ground and sure to be great weekends, with 2 great lads in our thoughts as always. #105 #TB44
