In for 3! Formula Grasstrack Championships Round 3 – Preview

Oliver Binns tops the Auto Cadet class after a fantastic start to his 2018 season but will have to fight off Harry Fletcher and Bridgewater’s Oliver Bovingdon. Bovingdon, who is in his debut season of racing makes his first appearance with the FGA.
In the Cubs, Brother’s Jack & Joe Crewe make their first appearance of the season after missing the first round at Chetton. Younger brother Jack will be making his debut in the class after stepping up from the Auto Cadet’s. Ellesmere Port’s Billy Budd will be aiming to take another win in the class he dominated in 2017.
In the Junior Category, it’s as you were with Eli Meadows, Sam Hall & Katie Gordon lining up at the tapes. Hall will be out to prove a point after a struggling in Round 2.
In the Senor Class, the top six from round 2 are expected the be the front runners again. The Ashcroft brothers are expected to be the one’s to watch once again with FGA veteran Glyn Stanton and the hard charging Martin Adams also in the mix for the win. Shrewsbury’s Steve Mace will be hoping to continue his fantastic start to the season. Wrekin member’s Marcus Crutchington & Nathan Alder will be out to improve on their results to push them up the championship table whilst Minsterley’s Colin How will be keen to make an A Final after narrowly missing out at round 2 a fortnight ago.
Practice begins at 12.30pm with Race one gets underway at 1.30pm. Admission is free for all spectators.
