A meeting of Eastern Promise. GW Racing Grasstrack – Race Report and Results
Another great club event was hosted by George Wilby and his team in the far eastern throws of the country on Sunday. The event, back at the superb Iken venue for this meeting, attracted a good lineup and all reports have been positive.

Australian speedway star Alex Davies once again saw victory thwarted as former British Champion Harland Cook was in dominating form.
This centre’s youth scheme is the best in the country at the moment and an absolute credit to the few volunteers pulling together to keep youth racing alive in the Eastern centre. It was good to see Cooper Rushen back out on track for this one, taking a win from current Gradings List leader George Colvin. The young Sussex rider continues his impressive first season in the class by following Rushen home.
Joe Butcher teamed with Michael Chittenden to record their best result to date, winning the small, competitive sidecar entry. Joe, who is currently competing both left and right handed, has put together several impressive results in the righthand class and could be a name to look out for from here.
