Girl Power at Gravity! South West Quad Enduro Championships Round 4 – Race Report
Report and Pictures by Neil Martin
There was a magnificent turn out of quads for this very popular quad club with around 60 athletes taking to the 6 mile track with woods, muddy ditches, open going, which was going to be a really challenging in the 2.5 hour race in the heat and a little dust, but that did not deter the riders in anyway …where each class had a good turn out
The Expert class was off the line in a blistering fashion and they were covering the course in under 8 minutes! The ever ready and super nice Stourport racer Luke Davies took the class and overall win with Chris Keitch in runner up spot with 3rd place going to Ben Harvey.
4×4 heavys class the mighty quads roared off the line with Mr fabulous himself Graham Illing taking the win with real style, with Richard Harvey taking the runner up spot and 3rd place going to Tyrone Guy.
The 4×4 lights class had a brilliant turn out in the summer sun with the cheeky Lawrence Dascombe taking a much deserved win after the trouble he had at RD3, with 2nd place going to Mark Williams and 3rd place to Dave Owen.
