Before that though, as well as the Quad race on the Saturday there was also a Solo race with where the lone Brit was James Haddow who managed a good finish of 71st out of 147 starters in an hour and a half long race.
Starting out the Sunday was an hour long youth race where Jack Winthrop flew the Union Jack and finished the super hard race in 69th position overall with a fantastic fastest lap time up there with the top 35 racers.
On the Sunday though a huge line up of 1200 races were all keen to make their mark on the Sand but it was French sand Expert Milko Potisek who took the win, ahead of top British hope Nathan Watson who put a sterling effort just over 2 minutes behind the leader. Camille Chapeliere came home in third ahead of a dicing duo of racers from Belgium, with Daymend Martens fourth and veteran Ken De Dyker in fifth. Jamie Mcanney was the next best Brit breaking into the top 10 with a 9th but one of the best performances by a UK racer was that of Tommy Alba who finished a tremendous 20th place.
Other British racers in the mix were Rob Holyoake in 29th, Ben Thomson in 131st, Danny Kidd 279th, James Holt
282nd and Leigh Williams in 301st.
