FEATURE TEAM REPORT: Bailo wins at Redcar for Greenfield Dirt track at Flat Track Nationals Round 3!
Round Three of the Dirt Track Riders Association Indian Motorcycle Flat Track Nationals saw the team head up north for the first ever Flat Track race held at Redcar Speedway. The racing would take place over the weekend with the Pro and Inter’s taking to the track on Saturday night, reverting back to the much-preferred new format of timed qualifying. With support from the Vintage class and Youth Senior’s. Sunday’s racing included both the Youth Junior and Inter classes, along with the majority of the DTRA classes.

It’s a big weekend on the UK Dirt Track calendar as the Indian Motorcycle Hooligan Championships and the DTRA Flat Track Nationals take centre stage of the MCN Festival at the East of England Showground in Peterborough this weekend 19th and 20th May.

Summer of Scun! Flat Track, Junior, Inappropriate, Pitbikes.. in new Scunthorpe Dirt Track Summer series
With the success of the new classes and the expansion of others in the recent Scunthorpe Amateur speedway events the club have now reached the point where they can no longer be confident of completing the amateur meetings before 7pm. It means they have made the difficult decision to take the non-speedway classes and give them their own Summer meetings on new dates.

They are confident this will help with track preparation for both sets of classes, allow everyone to have their session start at 11am, reduce the fatigue on the volunteers who cover the whole day and allow everyone to set off home at a reasonable hour.
