All go for Greenfield! Indian Motorcycle 2018 Flat Track Nationals Round 4 presented by DTRA – Preview
The awesome Greenfield Dirttrack facility in Lincolnshire plays host to Round 4 of the Flat Track Nationals this weekend. An all new TT course has been developed to move the 2018 series to the forefront of TT racing outside the American series.
DTRA race organiser Anthony Brown: “We are really pleased to work so closely with George Pickering and his team at Greenfield Dirt Track. The event this year is set to be massive. We have a fantastic new track and record entry for our TT event.”
Saturday will see our Pro and Inter riders take part in timed qualifying with the top 36 riders progressing to an evening main event starting at 6.30pm. Saturday night will also host our Thunderbike Class and Youth Seniors as support classes to the main event. Local rider #20 Toby Hales is currently sitting at the top of the championship after the first 3 rounds but Spanish rider #117 Gerard Bailo Pelegrin is hot on his heels. Just two points separate them at the top of the scoresheet. Another rider who should not be ruled out is #500 Rob Mear. Rob is fresh from his first win at Round Two at Redcar last month and will be keen to try his hand at the TT course.
Sunday’s program will include our Rookie riders along with Youth, Vintage and Minibike classes. We are really excited about the Minibike’s at Greenfield this year, we have over 40 riders in this action packed class.
Saturday: Qualifying 3.30pm
