It’s all change for Buildbase Honda in 2018 with Jake Nicholls and Josiah Natzke joining Dave Thorpe’s title-winning team.
With Graeme Irwin and Martin Barr both leaving the set-up after two very successful seasons, Dave unveiled his new star signings at the International Dirt Bike Show on Saturday.
Jake, 27, is tasked with winning the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship and Michelin MX Nationals MX1 titles on a CRF450R while rising Kiwi star Josiah will go for domestic championship glory in MX2 on a CRF250R. He will also race selected EMX250 rounds.

Hot on the heels of announcing their 450 squad of Kristian Whatley and Ryan Houghton, the Rob Hooper Racing Yamaha Motocross team can now reveal their 250 rider for the 2018 season with 20 year old Robbie Dowson stepping into the breach.
Dowson comes with a good pedigree having come 2nd in the Maxxis MXY2 Category, and 3rd in the British Youth Nationals in 2015, before stepping up into the Pro ranks last year where he pulled off some notable results including 12th overall in the Maxxis MX2 class at Canada Height’s, and a podium finish at Whitby in the Pirelli Masters.

REVO Husqvarna UK is stepping up the pace next year, undertaking an international race programme and fielding an expanded three-pro-rider line-up along with a rising youth star. Mel Pocock, the 2017 Michelin MX Nationals MX2 champion, stays with the team and is joined by highly-rated 17-year-old Dylan Woodcock.
