“It’s now been 2 months since the birth of my daughter, and after taking some time away from racing to spend with the family, I’ve raced twice in two weeks and we are back out again this Sunday (30th July) for the British clubmans championship. FEATURE RACER UPDATE – JAMES HARTLEY – The Season so far

Here’s an season so far update from our Feature Solo Grasstrack Racer James Hartley.

We’ve completed the opening two meetings of the year, firstly at Bewdley, and then most recently at the British under 21 final. Both meetings didn’t go exactly as planned, at Bewdley I rode steadily all day, picking up a 2nd, 3rd and a fall in the heats, making the final as 6th qualifier. In the final I made a poor start, lifting violently out of the gate, and left myself with a lot of work to do, I made my way into 3rd rounding the first bend, only to suffer with mechanical failure forcing me to retire.
