Saturday 13th January saw the annual ACU Awards presentations at the prestigious National Motorcycle Museum at
Solihull, West Midlands, where over 600 guests attended, representing all disciplines of motorcycle sport.
During the daytime over 200 guests arrived for the presentation of the ACU Youth Awards which saw two International stars enter the room on their Championship winning machines, FIM Trial2 Champion Iwan Roberts along with FIME European Long Track and British Masters Grass Track Champion James Shanes powered up their bikes to make a spectacular entrance to the Imperial Suite.

This weekend, January 20th and 21st, sees the first weekend of events get underway for Edge Offroad at Westwood, near Barnsley, S75 3DL

This all weather venue will be the first time that Edge has staged an event here, but hopefully the first of many! The crew are hoping to put on a great track for everyone – all abilities and all ages from 7 years upwards. The track didn’t disappoint either with prime conditions allowing lines to develop as the day unfolded. The adult open class had attracted a tantalizing line up with Howard Wainwright, Rob Yates and the Putnam boys; Ben & Charlie taking the spot light. It wouldn’t be easy for anyone though with a full gate of expert riders.
